Instructions for Use
Before and during each usage, give the bottle a good shake. Some of the contents may settle at the bottom of the bottle. Feel free to slam the bottom of the bottle on a counter a few times to knock the silica loose and allow it to mix well.
Apply directly to bedbugs you find and to their known travel routes on and around your bed, such as the edges of your mattress. Inspect your mattress seams and bed frame, then apply the spray liberally throughout.
Adjust the nozzle to produce a consistent volume of mist and spray to saturate both bed bugs and effectively cover their traffic routes for residual, long term defense and repelling power.
Apply the spray liberally where you suspect bed bugs have been hiding. Look for common signs of bed bugs like old exoskeletons or empty bed bug eggshells and droppings.
Beds and bed linens may be lightly sprayed with the product, but do so very selectively and sparingly.
It is recommended to avoid direct contact with the product and your skin. While DE! BLITZ is generally safe, prolonged contact with the product could dry out or irritate your skin or eyes.
Other Considerations and Warnings
For both effectiveness and safety, following best practices is essential. You should never rely on the spray as the sole solution for any insect infestation.
It must be a part of a larger plan that includes non-chemical methods like thoroughly vacuuming all affected areas, washing and drying all bedding and clothing on the highest heat setting, and encasing mattresses and box springs.
When applying the spray, target cracks, crevices, bed frames, and mattress seams, folds, and tufts, but avoid applying it to surfaces that will have prolonged human contact.
Always remove children, pets, birds, and cover fish tanks from the area before spraying. The room must be vacated after application and thoroughly ventilated before re-entry, and no one should touch treated surfaces until they are completely dry.
If using the product on ants, ensure that you also clean the space and remove all traces of food, which may be attracting them.
Final Considerations
Defensive End! BLITZ is a contact killer; however, the result may not be immediate. It may take time for the full effect to set in once a bug has been sprayed with the solution. Additionally, the residue left behind from the product after spraying a bug pest or an area prone to bug traffic provides a lasting deterrent and barrier.
